PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS:
The Atlanta VA Regional Office was developed to provide the VA with a new state-of-the-art facility containing Class A office Space, computer rooms, open office areas, and food service space, along with a 437-car multi-story parking garage. More importantly, the facility was located on VA-owned land through an Enhanced Use Lease process, allowing it to be placed next door to the existing VA Hospital. Atlanta's veterans have a regional office facility for "one stop shopping" for their medical and benefits needs.
The building materials consist of precast panels and high-quality glazing. The building systems are controlled utilizing a modern building management system, which maximizes functionality and operational efficiencies. This facility is LEED Gold certified by the U.S. Green Building Council, and has achieved the Energy Star Rating.
