PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS:
This 130,000 square foot facility is situated on the campus of Colorado State University (CSU) and was the first building of a planned research campus. In a unique venture with the General Services Administration and CSU, this three story building was developed as a Research Center for the Department of Natural Resources. The building serves to facilitate cooperative research and research administration among multiple Federal agencies, and contains Class A office space, research labs, computational areas, and teaching space. The architectural style was centered around materials and textures that compliment the building’s setting at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. |
